Who we are
Eyeflyon is a consulting organization, is founded upon a set of core beliefs that have evolved over several decades. We believe that experimentation is the greatest teacher, but it can be time-consuming, costly, and messy. When feasible, it is preferable to learn from the experiences of others and leverage tools and techniques that have been proven yet are dynamically evolving in an ever-changing world.
The consulting industry provides an exceptional learning environment by exposing individuals to constant change and complex problems across various domains. To earn the trust of the largest global organizations, the top-tier firms consistently reinvest in their greatest resource: their people. This is achieved through training and also through constant rotational experience from one client to another among teams. This benefits both the consulting firm and occasionally the hiring organization. And while some consulting arrangements are better than others, relationship is imperfect.
In our experience, we believe that a lack of clarity regarding roles and the failure to define success are frequently the causes of consulting arrangements that fall short of expectations. We believe there is a better way and we provide two options for prospective clients: 1) direct consulting services engagement & 2) consultative skills learning & development.
For our consulting clients, we provide an experienced “partner-level” consultant rather than a broad team composed of varying experience levels like most firms. When subject matter resources are required, the experienced consultant leverages our network of experts while maintaining full responsibility for all client engagement, deliverables, and interactions. In some cases, that may mean we aren’t the best resource for your challenge and we will tell you so.
For our consultative skills learning & development clients, we offer a compressed “bootcamp” type curriculum that replicates the same skills-based training that consultants at the prestigious firms provide - minus the client sales modules. The intended outcome is to equip learners to apply the same toolkits and frameworks that high-priced consultants use with a clear understanding of how and when to deploy them for a given challenge. While our curriculum has been thoughtfully designed, it is also able to be adapted as appropriate.
